Draft — not in force

This page is a draft. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not in force. Passages in brackets mark decisions that are still open. Please do not rely on anything on this page.

The short version

This is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and it sets no cookies of its own. The only personal data Aletarch receives is what you choose to put in an email to us, plus the standard request logs Vercel keeps as our host.

Who we are

Aletarch, Inc. (Aletarch) is the controller of personal data described in this policy. For any question about it, or to make a request under the rights below, email hello@aletarch.com.

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you email us — an enquiry, a speculative application, a security report — we receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever the message contains. Mail is handled in Google Workspace.
  • Analytics: none. Aletarch does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or session recording on https://aletarch.com, and sets no cookies of its own.
  • Server logs. Vercel, which hosts this site, records standard request data — IP address, user agent, and the URL requested — to serve and protect it. That data is held by Vercel under its own policy, not by us. [How long Vercel retains request data — to be confirmed against its current terms.]

Why we use it

  • To read and reply to what you sent us.
  • To operate the site, and to investigate abuse or security problems.

We do not use any of it for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it. [The lawful basis relied on for each purpose — awaiting counsel.]

Who else handles it

  • Google Workspace — email. Mail sent to Aletarch is received and stored there.
  • Vercel — hosting. The site is served from Vercel’s network, which keeps the request logs described above.

That is the complete list. There is no CRM, no applicant tracking system, no analytics vendor, and no advertising network. [Any transfers outside the relevant jurisdiction, and the safeguard relied on — awaiting counsel.]

How long we keep it

[Retention period for email and for server logs — to be confirmed. Email retention is ours to set; log retention follows whatever Vercel does.]

Your rights

[The rights that apply, and the supervisory authority to complain to — awaiting counsel. Depends on where Aletarch is established and where its readers are.]

Whatever those turn out to be, the practical route is the same: write to hello@aletarch.com and ask.

Products and services

This policy applies to https://aletarch.com. Aletarch products or services may provide additional or separate privacy terms where indicated. Eidren is not publicly available, and this policy does not describe any data it will process.

Changes

We will post material changes here and update the date above. [Whether material changes are also notified directly — to be confirmed.]
